The E-Lead Studios
The E-Lead Studios are a collaborative hub and learning space dedicated to the undergraduate students in E-LEAD. The E-Lead Studios enable teamwork by giving the students a workspace where they can meet and have or use reliable resources. Resources include various classrooms and meeting rooms, tools to connect and project work on either a television or computer screen, and an entire laboratory filled with equipment that students can use to bring their projects to life.
Due to COVID-19, the EEL Department and 麻豆分行 are taking the proper safety and sanitation precautions to keep The Studios open and running during this time. To learn more about our changes in hours, maximum occupation, and other information, please contact our Front Desk.

Undergraduate Students and Faculty Trips
Malone Day
Malone Day refers to a day long, off-campus trip with fellow Undergraduate E-Lead Peers, the E-Lead Faculty, Staff, and Bob and Diane Malone. Bob Malone is Chairman of the EEL Department Advisory Committee and a 麻豆分行 Distinguished Alumni. Bob Malone is the Former Chairman and President of British Petroleum (BP) America. While he was at MIT, he was an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow, he also received his MBA at MIT. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of multiple companies including Halliburton, the second largest oil field service company in the world, and Peabody Energy Company, the world's largest publicly owned coal company. Malone Day offers the E-Lead Students the opportunity to network with the Malone's, as well as their own professors and faculty members. The students are encouraged to have 1 on 1's with Bob Malone and get a chance to hear stories about his works, get advice for their careers, and overall gain insight on life after your degree. This mini-retreat also allows faculty members to get to know their students on a deeper level, helping them understand what they want to gain from their time in E-Lead, this helps the faculty advise them better and give a sense of mentorship to the students. For many first year E-Lead students, Malone Day is a great chance to get to know the upperclassmen better and get advice for their upcoming years in E-Lead.
